Usrah Week 1 (Module 1): Ta'aruf , Adab in learning & Al Quran as the book of guidance

 Ta'aruf time!

For the first week of our Usrah we had a taaruf session. Since Madam Asmiza has  2 sections to handle, she put us all in one session. It was fun because there were many people involved. She introduced herself and we did too. I was the first person to do the introduction about myself. I told everyone my name, kuliyyah and where I am from and everyone do the same. I was very excited because in my sections, I am the only one who is from Kuliyyah of Human Science (HS). Usrah gave me opportunity to meet and know new friends from other kuliyyah.

After we were all done introducing ourselves, Madam Asmiza told us what is Usrah about and what our assessments are. She provided us with a video. I will link it down below. She also picked 1 naqibah from section 51 & 52.

The WH question that is related to Adab :

Adab

  • Adab is natural, it isn’t really taught, or learnt, but it is naturally developed.

The purpose of learning

  • To produce a good person, the inculcation of adab, which leads to taqwa (God-consciousness or piety). Because in the sight of Allah, the most noble of us are the ones with taqwa.
