I'M BACK AGAIN! Usrah II Week 1: Taaruf & Heart 2 Heart (Acquisition of hikmah from Ibadah)
I'm Back!
Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah SWT, we can meet again for Usrah session for semester 3. Semester break was great! I hope you had wonderful time too last semester break 😇 And, I hope you guys are in a good health, InsyaAllah. Stay safe everyone! 😀
Taaruf!
For the first week, we start of by doing a taaruf session with all of the usrah members & our new Naqibah, Aqilla Hanim. I got new Usrah members this semester so all of the faces are so unfamiliar plus we are doing Open and Distance Learning (ODL) again for semester 3. I would like to thank our naqibah for giving time for us to introduce ourselves. She distributed a survey called 'bank soalan personal' for us to complete it to introduce ourselves better to the members a few days before the session.
Heart 2 Heart: Acquisition of Hikmah from Ibadah
Setting the right Niyyah (Intention)
For Muslims, any good deed performed for the sake of Allah s.w.t, no matter how small, would undoubtedly be rewarded. It is critical that we keep our intentions pure and sincere in order to reap the benefits of our good activities.
Apply the right Amal (Practices)
Faith is the key to paradise, but how can one rise through the ranks of paradise? It is actions or practices based on Islamic teachings. This is the most crucial component, as well as the significance of action for a believer. Faith must be linked with practices. Practices without faith has no point because only a believer benefits from their practices in the afterlife.
Internalise Ihsan (Positive Virtues)
Ihsan means to do a thing well, in the best possible manner, to achieve excellence, to aim at beauty and perfection. Ihsan is to be done not only in worship but Ihsan is to be practiced in every aspect of one's life as the Prophet has said: "Verily, Allah has prescribed Ihsan towards everything." However the merit of Ihsan becomes many fold when it is practiced when dealing with fellow human being
That's it for our first week, see you guys next time!
